Hach Company
Parent / umbrella company
Hach makes equipment, reagents, and test strips for measuring water quality across municipal, industrial, and consumer markets. Founded by Clifford and Kathryn Hach in 1947, it became a wholly owned Danaher subsidiary in 1999 and moved to Veralto in the 2023 spin-off. Its Elkhart, Indiana subsidiary, Environmental Test Systems (ETS), manufactures the AquaChek pool & spa line — the only pool/spa consumer brand in the Hach/Veralto portfolio.
